Default Positive Experience with S&W CS

I have called and emailed S&W customer service before with less than stellar experiences. Well I called them again today to ask another question. Not only was my wait time only a minute or two, but the gentleman on the other end was happy to help me. I was asking where to get a new striker assembly for my M&P Pro since it was made in 2010 and has the old style and I don't know for sure how many rounds it has on it. The gentleman asked for my name and address and a new one is on the way. I also asked about the slide stop assembly since I have the old style also (no yellow spring). He said that they don't send out slide stop assemblies, that it would have to come in to be upgraded. It was a safety issue, or something like that. I just ordered a new ambi slide stop assembly from Speed Shooters Supply. I will keep it in the M&P tool box I am making, so when/if it cracks or goes out, I have a new one to put in.

It's a shame they won't send out/sell a new slide stop. The one from Speed Shooter Specialties is the old style. I'd like to get a new one.

I did not realize that it was the old style. Oh well, at least I will have a spare if and when it breaks.
