I just bought a m&p 9mm 4.25"... im a new gun owner and is the any good tac lights for it that are under a $100 ?

I have a S&W Micro 90 that has worked out very well and they can be had for pretty cheap if you look around on the interweb. It will light up a dark room and the controls are intuitive and easy to operate.

Streamlight makes a couple that are around that 100 back mark.

If you can be patient you can find a Streamlight TLR-1 under $100.00 on sale sometimes. Keep an eye out at Midway USA, LA Police Gear, Optics Planet. I have seen them on sale under $100.00 this past year. I am sure one will run a special again. The TLR-1 is a great light and well worth it.

TRL-1s can be had in that price range if you watch adds. LA Police Gear has good deals on the from time to time. The TRL-3 can be found for $75 or around there. I have both TRLs and they're reliable. I prefer the Surefire X300, but they cost a lot more and the TRLs are good lights.
