Hello from a new Shield Owner
Hello from NC.
Just brought home a new Shield last night and this is also my first post on the forum. This is not my first handgun and after 20 + years of CCW, this will me my first S&W auto.
Hopefully I'll learn something here and also be able to contribute a little something of my own.

Thanks guys.
I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, been at work this morning. I also want to pick up a holster, that I can use on the range, somewhere today. Last night I disassembled it, swabbed the bore, wiped it down and oiled it. Now I'm ready to try it.

Hey, do you know my cousin Randy Randall? Did you ever work at Carolina Freight? My dad was a driver there for 32 years. I used to work on the docks. I missed the Shooters last New Year's Day.

I've known Randy and his family for years and we've talked guns a lot.
I never worked at CF but have been in C ville for 40 years.

Welcome Houser52, the Shield is my only S&W semi-auto too. I love it. S&W revolvers, well, I have more than one, LOL. Sounds like you may too, just a hunch though.

Cool! I grew up with him and Teressa. His brother Curby too. Did you get your Shield at that sporting goods store in Churvul (a.k.a. Cherryville)?

I got it at American Tactical in Shelby.
It's hard for me to deal with that store in Cville. They never seem to have what I want or need so I didn't even check there. I did check with them today about a holster and... nope, they didn't have what I wanted. So... I'm still looking for a holster.
