M&P22 Compact magazines
I was looking online for M&P22 Compact magazines and unfortunately could not find any, except at S&W online store for $32 a pop. Site said that they have them in stock. Since I am very impatient, I have ordered 3 of them. Now, I have question, that probably should have been asked before I bought them. How quick does S&W Official Store completes and ships orders?

I ordered two of them today also. Guy told me it would be about 7 days to me, assuming, as he did, that these would not hit the mail until Tuesday, next week.
It seems to take a while, in my opinion, before the new S&W mags begin dropping in price. Those will be $32 per for a while, I'll bet. Might as well get some now before EVERYONE buys themselves one of these sweet little compact 22's and starts buying up all the mags.

I ordered them online, hope they get here before next weekend. I remember when I bought first full size MP22 it was almost impossible to find spare mags and unfortunately fullsizers only come with one mag. I decided to order them at full price for the same reason. Once more own those new compacts, mags might be in short supply for the while. Wish that S&W had the same promotion as current Ruger promotion. Right now if you buy SR22, you get free box ammo and free mag.

I ordered 8/28/14, so not bad. When I called to check on the status few days ago, CS rep told me that it should get her monday. Got it earlier today, so I am happy . They are using fedex smart post, so it is slower then molasses, so be patient.

Finally got my mags today, via the glacially slow and misnamed "smart post".
Did yours come from Paducah, Ky? Mine did. Wonder who is making mags in Paducah.

Threw away the box and did not check the shipment origin. Whoever makes it, mags work fine, and have to say they load up easier than SR22 mags.

None For Me Here In New York From The Factory.
I tried to order extra magazines for my M&P 22 compact from the S&W factory, and was told the factory cannot/will not sell 10 round magazines to New York State residents period. I told them I legally bought the gun here in New York and it came with 10 round magazines, and was told try to get them from another source, because they will not sell or ship any caliber 10 round pistol magazines to New York. (Thank you SAFE ACT). I have no idea where to even look for them, and if I do find some, I wonder if any outside company would refuse to ship them to New York as well. I'm glad you others were able to obtain some.

If ordering from the Smith & Wesson online store, be fore warned, S&W ships via "FedEx SmartPost." This abomination is a partnership between FedEx and the USPS where FedEx moves the product by truck and delivers to the US Post Office nearest the recipient. Then a Postal Carrier delivers it the last mile. I ordered a S&W / Desantis custom holster for my daughter's SD40VE on Friday 9/19/2014. The order was entered on Monday 9/22 and shipped from Paducah, KY, via "FedEx SmartPost" to Columbia, SC, the next day. FedEx tracking shows that USPS attempted to deliver on Saturday 9/27. But, as a signature was required by S&W, the Postal Carrier left a notice requesting her signature and stating they would redeliver in two days. Now two weeks later, the Post Office can't find the holster. S&W says call FedEx, who says call USPS, who says call S&W!
Can we say: "Use caution, CLUSTER F_ _ _ in progress!!!"

I have received several dozen packages via FedEx and UPS "SmartPost" shipping, from several different shippers, with no problems. It can take an extra 1-3 days, but for the price difference it is well worth the wait in most cases. If you don't want the "SmartPost" shipping, most offer other options at extra cost.

So, how much more could it cost to actually get what I bought, and paid for in advance, delivered in less than (insert number here) weeks?

Well, after 19 days without delivery, and an admission from USPS that included the fact they didn't even have a tracking number for our holster, Smith & Wesson is doing the right thing and replacing it. But, this time they're shipping it straight FedEx; no hand-off to USPS.
Thank you S&W!

Life can be so demanding in the fast lane. Waiting for the magazines just makes their arrival more satisfying actually I found a sure way to have the extra mags available immediately.......I bought a second Compact, put the box on the shelf after removing the mags....ł
Situation resolved.

OK... Here we go again. I ordered four S&W hard cases six days ago. They shipped out three days later via FedEx "SMARTPOST." Wrong! As there is a major FedEx ground service center in our town, a trip from the S&W Store DC in Paducah, KY to Independence, KY (280 miles) should take about two days. Again, wrong! FedEx "SMARTPOST" moved them from Paducah, KY to Nashville, TN, then on to Grove City, OH (near Columbus), then back south to the US Post Office at Independence, KY; a total of 630 miles. The FedEx truck these cases are on had to drive past the Independence FedEx service center twice before delivering to the local US Post Office. With any luck, we may see these cases on Saturday; seven days after the order. FedEx "SMARTPOST" -- Not!
BTW: A day later, I ordered a hard case from Ruger. It shipped two days later via regular UPS ground, and I received it earlier today.
FedEx SMARTPOST service cost $6.50 and after six days, it's still not here. Regular UPS ground service cost $6.00, and was delivered in three days.

$17
Not sure if this info has been posted elsewhere, but I was shopping around for these mags today and was fidning them for around $23-$30.
Then I found them for $17 here: GunMag Warehouse
I was skeptical, but the S&W SKU is correct: 3000898
Shipping was $5 for Economy, or $8 for Priority.

seems there was another thread but i dont think doesn't hurt to add new info when able. I used the same company recently for my compact, and had the goods in just a few days. No complaints at all

Last week GunMag Warehouse just had a sale for them. $16.99 a pop. Pays to shop around.
They worked just fine.
But to answer your question I have had pretty good luck with S&W store; within seven working days.
