Apex FRE extractor first, then trigger kit. Just me though.
There are two options for the trigger kit, based on your purpose:
1) DCAEK
2) Forward Sear Set
To my understanding, the forward sear set gets rid of the slack.
Functions like a 1911 trigger (correct me if I'm wrong, anyone).
The DCAEK kit gives you a more smoother and consistent trigger pull.
I have the DCAEK kit on both my M&P9s and it definitely helps with keeping on target after shots and follow through.
Then you have the competition kit, but yeah it's for competition and might not suit your needs.
Then I'd go with Trijicon HD night sights, easy to acquire.
I'd pick up a few mags.
if you can find one, a 357sig barrel (eBay is your friend) - just for kicks as a range toy.
The mags are for both .40 and 357 sig, so you just need a 357sig barrel.
Hope it helps
