Default New guy.... and lost a part

Greetings!

I recently bought both an M&P .22 and M&P 9mm (full-size) Love both guns so far. I'm a lefty, so the fully ambidextrous features are a real plus.

I just removed the rear sight for replacement on the 9mm, and I lost the small disk underneath. (part circled in green in attached picture)

Anyone know where I can get a part number for it - or can I just describe it to S&W and get a replacement? Thanks for any assistance!

Hey buddy, just call S&W. They will probably send you one for free. It's the plate for the striker block spring. Hope it helps

Thanks! I did just find out I can get them here also:

M&P Striker Safety Plunger Spacer [1718] - $2.00 : Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties

Only a few bucks shipped so I figured I'd just order it there in case S&W has any problems.

Thanks again...
