Default Compact 22 serial number prefixes

Hi y'all,
For those of you who have purchased one of the new M&P Compact 22's.. Are all of you finding HHE prefixes?

Mine is under 0700.

Reason i ask is I have noticed a few different sites that have posted preliminary reviews of these new guns have pictures which show guns with HHD prefixes.

Is it possible that they have already made enough of these to have burned through a whole prefix letter (i.e HHD - HHE) or was HHD some sort of demonstator prefix?

Does S&W do this often?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

D

Does Smith use the same serial number prefix across different models?

In other words, are there Shields or other M&P models out there with HHD serial prefixes?

If HHD/HHE serial prefixes are exclusive to the M&P Compact 22, then it would seem like Smith has already made a pile of these guns.
