Best non-Tritium sights for an M&P 9C?
Just from riding in my front pocket in a Nemesis, the factory sights on my 9C have gone to ****. Was hoping someone could share some good options for non-Tritium sights. Unless Williams fiber optic sights have improved dramatically in the past 8 or 9 years, I will pass on that option. I have read that the Tru Glo Bright Sites have a similar problem with the fiber optic element breaking. Even so, I have not ruled this option out.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

So you're looking for non-tritium night sights? Or just non tritium sights period?

Non-tritium sights period, with fiber optics a desired option, provided I can find a set that will not fail easily.
I doubt that there is a 'non-Tritium night sight'.

Best non-Tritium sights for an M&P 9C?
You know, I quite like the 10 8 Fiber Optic front sight I put on mine last week:
S&W M&P/Shield Front Sight, Fiber Optic - 10-8 Performance Store
Edit:
Couple additional point I wanted to mention. I was a little worried about the stories of the rod dropping out of the FO. The 10 8 sights fiber rod is held in at the front, back and middle of the sight extent. I thought this was more secure than some I've seen where the rod is only held at the front and back.
Plus, the 10 8 sights were available at the factory height of 0.160", meaning I did not have to make any adjustments for sight height.
Mine was installed by a Gunsmith, and the fiber installation is well done, with zero play in the rod/sight.

+1 on Warren Tactical sights. I have their FO sights with a blacked out rear on my 9c and I love them.

I would look at 10-8 with the fiber optic front option and the wide U rear.

I installed the CLAW from I.C.E. (made by Ameriglo). And the reflective dot fell out/off my first range trip. Ameriglo sent me a new one free, I put it on, and it hasn't failed over the last few hundred rounds. So far, so good ...
UPDATE - just went to the range this weekend, and the front glowing "insert" popped off again. I guess I'll have to find a new front sight ...

What is the reason people don't like the Tritium Sights ?
Is there something I am not aware of that would be a negative ?
Thanks

I am by no means an expert, but:
If you subscribe to the theory you should identify your target before pulling the trigger, and plan to use a WML or hand held, then the use of Tritium sights becomes somewhat irrelevant.
On the other hand, if your scenario involves no/very low light, then the tritium glow will allow you to align the sights on POA.
In other words, YMMV.
Just my $0.02.

Well, my guess is you will get lots of opinions on this.

Tritium sights show up very nicely in very low or no light situations. However, do you want to discharge your gun when you can not fully see what/who you are shooting at? If you use a flashlight to see what/who you are shooting at, then that negates the tritium sights. What if your child has a bad dream and comes into your room in the middle of the night for comfort. Do you want to run the risk of shooting your child because you can not clearly see who is entering your room in the middle of the night? Or what if your spouse left your room because you were snoring and was sleeping on the sofa. What if they are sneaking back to bed so they don't disturb you?
Don't get me wrong, lots of people love Tritium sights. I used to have a set on my Steyr. Then I started to think.. Then I tested them in the bathroom (no light) with a flashlight attached to the rail. With the flashlight on, the Tritium sights turned into regular sights. No advantage.

My old geezer eyes see the white dot contrast sights better than the night sights in the light.
Night sights are ~bright~ in a dark room. They are easily seen from across the room directly or reflected off a mirror or glass picture frame.

There isn't a negative, unless your opponent is using several thousand dollars worth of NV gear. Using night sights helps cover all the bases.
.
Yes, you SHOULD use a flash light to ID your target, yes this might negate the glow of the night sights, but that's not a reason not to get them. Murphy loves people that only prepare for how things SHOULD go.
