Call me old school but after carrying a duty weapon with 3 dot tritium sights - I just can't get use to the sights on my M&P 22. I absolutely love the gun but hate the cheap sights.
How many of you have installed TruGlo TFO sights on your M&P 22? I read a few old threads that stated the front sight took some filing to get it installed correctly.
The High Viz fiber optic front sight is the best thing you can add to the MP .22, I would however like to see them offered in different heights as my pistol could use a higher one than standard. They include other inserts but the green light gathering tube is my choice.

I have the hiviz in my 22 and the TFOs on my full size. The TFOs are a lot darker unless the sun is directly overhead...
Does Tru-Glo manufacture a TFO sight set for the M&P 22? I seem to recall seeing an advisory, noting that the standard M&P sight sets don't fit the M&P 22. Dawson Precision does offer a set of fiber optic sights specifically for the M&P 22. In addition, they offer the TFO sight set for the standard M&P but do not list the TFO sights for the M&P 22. I recently bought an M&P22 when PSA dropped the price to $259. I too was disappointed with the sights, couldn't see 'em well enough to shoot with them. I installed a set I had taken off an M&P40. I did have to file a little clearance off the bottom of the sight that extends from the dovetail over the slide. It didn't take much, but it will not clear if you don't take a little off. Everything else fit very well.
