M&P Carbon Fiber Frame?
I just saw a few listings on Slickguns for carbon fiber M&P's. It says the frame material is polymer, but it has a carbon fiber look. Just wondering if there is some advantage or if it's just for looks? Is this something new?

I have two M&P's which I love.
I handled a "carbon fiber" framed one at a local gun shop last week. Just for looks is my verdic.

Eh...........I've never been a big fan of the "carbon fiber look" but, to each his own I guess. I like my 3 M&P's just the way they are now.

It's camo to match your bike......
Ugly and late to the game. I have heard people say they will wait until they have a super sale on ones that could not sell and buy them than Cerakote them.
I think they are making FDE also, that's something I would look at in a M&P 9c.

Can't say I really care for that, but to each his own.

I like carbon fiber on my canoes and and my kayak paddles but I don't believe I'd be interested in having a pistol that looks like that.

I like it, but I would end up throwing the talon grips on it. It would end up covering most of the "fiber" up, so I would not pay more for it.

It isn't carbon fiber. It's a painted on or dipped treatment. It's not even done very well. I wish they hadn't made them.

It's hydrodipped, cheap marketing move to nudge sales of a long running product.
