If you're asking because of the hole in the rear of the frame, no that's not where a thumb safety would go. I can't tell from the picture, but it may have an internal lock. A lot of frames have that hole (but no IL) but that one looks bigger for some reason. (at least to me it does). The internal lock took a key that would lock the sear disabling the pistol. It was an option for a while.
Did this pistol have a factory thumb safety?
