Lady Smith 3913
Just purchased my first S&W today. I am now the proud owner of a Lady Smith 3913. Hard to find but so worth the persistance and time it took to find it. Anyone else own one? Things you may or may not like about yours?

I think that you will be happy with the 3913.
A solid, real gun that is in much demand . . still!
Although I like the 1911 platform better for myself, I started out on the 39/59/69 series. I like the DA/SA the best.

Congratulations! I'm a week agead of you. Just got my 3913NL, and you're right, they're a bit difficult to find. I think the looks of them attracted me first, then the quality of the pistol and the hoards of happy owners sealed the deal. I think it's the perfect size for a CCW. And of course, it's a Smith! You have any pictures to share? Here's my little buddy. (before I removed the laser)

I would love to post a pic but not quite sure how to do it yet. Just joined today and am trying to learn my way around.

Pictured is my carry piece: 3913NL with Mitch Rosen leather.
Also picked up a 3913LS a few years ago.
I really like the angled front frame of these guns.
I've also refurbished about 20 of the 3rd gen pistols in the last three years. Complete disassembly, bead blast if needed, all new springs and replace any broken small parts. Replace sights and grip if necessary.

Only issue so far is when field stripping the slidestop pin does not want to come out.

I was able to get mine in the original box with all original paperwork, 5 clips, 2 are 9 rounds, and a blackhawk holster for $500. From everything I researched that was one heck of a deal!

I would agree. If I ever run across another one in that range it will become mine too!
Look for "Attach Files" then "Manage Attachments" under the Advanced tab. From there you can access your photos and attach them to your post. Looking forward to your pics!

The only thing I hate about them is how hard they are to find anymore. And apparently everybody now knows this and the prices for a clean used 1 are going up. I love 'em but won't buy a $500-600 gun to carry and beat up. And as much as I love this series of pistols, I can't afford a "Safe Queen".
But they are 1 of S&W's best ever pistols! Thanx, ASP, you started a good thing.

I've had this one 8-9 years. It replaced a 669 I had stolen.
Surprised me how well it likes 115 grain JHPs. Quite accurate. I carry it some.
