I just installed the APEX Shield Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Trigger and Kit in my Shield.
I also have installed in both (S&W M&P 9mm FS, S&W M&P 9C) the Apex M&P Polymer Forward Set Sear and Trigger Kit
What I notice most between the Shield and the 9mm FS/9C is the amount of pre-travel in the Shield prior to sear pick-up. Pre-travel prior to sear pick-up is 5/16” in the Shield vs 2/16” in the 9C.

The pre-travel in the Shield was not reduced at all from what I can tell. I was expecting a similar trigger after the install on the Shield to what I have in the 9mm FS/9C.
Has any on else noticed this?
Is there anything else I can do?
I also plan I re-installing the S&W trigger return spring. From what I read here in the forums it is lighter than the spring Apex provides. Trigger still seems to be a bit heavy to me compared to my other S&W M&P's.
