I thought I'd share some pictures of my weekend project with you.
I felt the need to improve upon the black ramp sight that is standard on the Bodyguard. I looked at the two alternatives (XS Big Dot and Williams Firesights) but wanted something different.
After measuring the original and comparing it to the FS M&P sights in my used parts can, I found very small differences.
That allowed me to fit the FS M&P sight to the BG 380. There was a small difference at the edges of the sight base where the OEM BG sights are beveled. I reshaped an old Trijicon sight to match the bevel and would up with what I feel to be a satisfactory installation. shorter night sights are available and I have one on order to see if it might be better.
