I've seen +5 extensions, and I have full size mags with x-grips. These are too much for carry. Does anyone know of a +2 or even +1?

I carry my .40c with the 10 rounder, pinky ext. and a FS 15 rounder with xgrip in a knife sheath on my belt. The knife sheath came from Wally world for around $8, is nylon with a velcro fold over, fits the 15 rounder perfect.

Mec-Gar Extended Mag Base Pad +2 Optimum Series Mag

I prefer not to carry extra mags. The Mec-Gar looks like what I'm wanting but the link you included doesn't show S&W as a choice. Is that your gun or what? Did you need to change springs?

We have both a compact and a core so we just buy the x grip for the full size 17 rounders for range a fun shoots but carried with the stock 12 rounder flat bottom , backed up by x gripped 17 rounder .

For compact guns no spring change is needed.
For the fullsize I had to add +10% springs to get the slide to hold back on the last shot.

Other than that they have worked just fine.
