Default 1st Time Out with My M&P 22C

Love the gun but being honest I shoot it worse than any pistol I have including my 642. I sent 300 rounds through it straight out of the box and no hiccups at all and to be fair I think a few things affected my shooting today. 1. It's windy and I shoot at an outdoor range. 2. I'm feeling a little under the weather. 3. My mitts are way too big for the small grip. My groups were not too bad but all to the left and up mostly, I did get better after the first 100 rounds or so when I relaxed my death grip and all shooting was 7 to 10 yards. I love the gun and I bought it for my wife and to teach my grandsons with so I'm looking forward to outings with them and I'm sure they'll shoot it better than I did today.

I only zero pistol sights at indoor ranges where the target can be placed very close, and no weather issues to deal with. Make sure the front sight is evenly centered in its slot first. It's a great fun pistol, especially suppressed.

I bought mine on Monday and only put twenty rounds through it to make sure it worked. Cleaned it. Removed the magazine disconnect and put it away.

My suppressor adapter should be in today's mail, so my pistol will really get a workout today!

I should've bought more mags.

I'll be taking mine to the range tomorrow for it's first time out.

I, too, would check your sights if you haven't already. The front sights on one of my Shield pistols was off when I first purchased it. I was doing the exact same thing with mine until I realized the issue.

Thanks but I really think I had way too much finger in the trigger and thats from shooting my 642 so much, I'll try again in a few days. What do I need to set it up with a suppressor and where can I get that stuff for the best price ? I think mine came with a small allen wrench to remove the protector.
