Hello everybody. I'm in the market for a single stack 9mm (poly) and I am heavily favoring the Shield (without a thumb safety). I was also considering the Ruger LC9S Pro and XDS 9, but the Shield feels best in my (and my Wife's) hand and I like the trigger the most (although an APEX kit will be my first add on). I probably won't get the opportunity to fire any of them before making a purchase because of where I live (no rentals or pistol ranges), so I do a TON of online reading before making a decision. Right now I have a question that is purely cosmetic and I know most people will think its a waste of money. I like having forward serrations, but none of the three pistols I am looking at have them. So I have been looking online at different gunsmiths and have seen that some add front serrations that are wavy (similar-ish to the rear serrations), and some straighten the rear serrations and add front serrations to match. Do any of you have either of these styles of serrations done? How do they feel? Who did them? Would you switch styles if you could? Pictures would be VERY much appreciated.
Thanks for reading!
