I didn't hear anything about that, but I just finished installing an apex fss trigger kit in my 40c. cant wait to hit the range up. So far the pre and post travel is much better. I used the 4lb trigger spring.
I would be very interested in having the performance center trigger installed on my 9c. I have considered the apex products, but I'm trying to keep it factory since it will be one of my carry guns.
mcshaefer223 I just installed the apex fss kit on my 40c today which is my carry weapon. give me a few days to test on range and I will give you my thoughts on how it is for carry.

The APEX Duty/Carry kit is made exactly for this purpose so you will get more travel a a heavier pull than the FSS kit.
I doubt that an APEX full FSS kit with RAM could be improved upon. I eagerly await to read this:
"TTAG will be testing the enhanced trigger vs. the standard trigger ASAP. And pitting an Apex drop-in M&P trigger against BOTH the Performance Center and the new enhanced trigger and (what the Hell) the soon-to-be-old trigger."
I actually like my full size's trigger better than my Shield's trigger (both May 2014 production dates). The full size has some take-up, but it's smooth after a slight polish of the striker block ramp on the trigger bar (I did this to the Shield as well). The break is crisp and there's very little over-travel -- the break is all the way rearward and feels nice. The Shield also has a crisp break, but it breaks further forward, and there's quite a bit of over-travel. Both seem to have the same amount of take-up.
I like the physical shape of the Shield's trigger better (the trigger shoe has less of a curve to it). I like the trigger action of the full size better.
