New 9L with DeltaPoint
Just got this gun after a long wait. Maryland has a Handgun Roster and the gun must be approved. Took a while.
This is a really trick setup…..
The Delta is visible to co-witness with the sights….
SOOOOO…..
adjust the Delta Base to coincide with the normal sight picture and use for targets from 3-10 yards. At about 15 yards, simply place the center of the Delta on the center of the target while at 25-50 yards, place the upper "Point" of the Delta on the target…..
Distant objects get a smaller targeting reference….
Close objects see the large base of the Delta and the front sight…..
Accuracy is fantastic…. acquisition speed is very fast…

Just as a reference:
When I got the gun, it had a 5.5lb trigger which I felt was too heavy for me. I got the news that I would have to spend another $200-$250 for a complete Apex kit and trigger to get where I wanted to be…around 4 lbs.
I called the Perf. Ctr. and the person whom I spoke with told me that they could possibly take 1 - 1.5 lbs out of the pull weight.. no promises. She Emailed me a call tag, I sent the gun, and in a week had it back…Pull weight is 4.5lbs. A TRUTH! I had expected no less, but the trigger now is nearly identical to my Shield which has the Apex kit. It is still not as light as the .45 M&P with the Apex kit.
Does anyone have the new Apex…FLAT trigger…opinions?

I had the polymer FSS trigger kit in my Core for about a year and a half, changed the trigger to the flat one, liked it much better (and I was faster on my split times) so when I built a new pistol for this year I jumped right in with the Flat Faced FSS kit which is around $160, if you had to pay someone $100 to install it, I think you should find someone else to do the work .
Pictures below 1. Old Core with 90K rounds on it. (now my wife's gun). 2. My new this year gun. and 3 Trigger pull on the new gun, much more involved than just putting the Apex kit in it.

That is sweet, congratulations! Almost makes me ready to take up competitive shootin' just so I can justify one to the 'boss'.

I paid $35 to have my flat faced FSS put in my CORE 40 and then another 50 to have it removed the factory put back in then the FSS put into my 9 PRO. Got to start doing this stuff myself. Don
