Last week took the new Shield to the range and shot about 300 rounds. One failure to extract on a handload. Took it back to the range today and shot about 250 rounds. Zero failures. I am reasonably happy.
In fact, if I can come up with a magazine carrier that works with these mags I may very well shoot this in my regular IDPA match in the CCP division instead of my mini-1911 .38 super. We shall see.

CCP is a relatively new class, I'm glad they came out with that. For the past month I've been using my Shield in SSP class. Fobus OWB holster & I just shove 3-8 round mags in my pocket as I still cant find a mag holster for the sheild's. But I'll check out the Blackhawk one on my Amazon tonight..
