I recently acquired a m&p40 vtac. Gun shoots fine. But there is no reset at all. Can't feel it or hear it. I had a 9mm full size and I could hear,and feel,what was the trigger reset.

Any ideas?
I already ordered the apex duty carry for it. Hopefuly that will rectify the issue.. I ha e the duty carry kit,in my shield,and love it.

So you went into a store and bought a gun that has the worse trigger you ever felt? Those are usually the ones I don't buy. But I'll offer double what the LGS offered you.

Just installed the duty carry kit... Trigger pull is great... But still no reset...

Emailed apex and will call Smith and Wesson in the morning to see what else can be done about the reset... Someone else mentioned about a newer version slide stop that has a bump in it now for the reset... May give it a try.
