Would installing an Apex hard sear improve trigger pull in a M&P pro vs the factory sear?

I bought a new 5" Pro last week and the factory trigger broke at 6.5lbs. I installed the Apex competition kit and it dropped to 4lbs. I put a tiny dap of aluminum anti-seize on the hammer to sear contacts and the trigger bar to sear contact and it dropped to 3lbs.

The Apex sear is an upgrade, but get the full kit, or at least striker block. You don't say what your gun's purpose is, but I use my 5" Pro Series as a bedroom gun and range paper puncher.

I installed the Apex Duty Carry Action Enhancement Kit (DCAEK) and polymer trigger. It is a real improvement to the stock trigger, somewhat shorter take up, but there is still a decent amount which I think appropriate for the guns purpose. However, the trigger pull still seemed heavy. I swapped the Apex trigger spring back to the original S&W spring and it's perfect (for my needs). I haven't measured it, but I would guess ~4-5 lb, crisp and very little over travel. (You can easily adjust over travel. As a defense gun, I left in a bit because I felt it assured reliability.

I manage to install the hard sear myself and tried back to back with the factory sear, I was shocked to find out that with the Apex hard sear the trigger break was really mushy vs the factory sear the trigger is really crisp and very predictable. For the moment this is my home defense firearm so it will stay as it is.

Just put the APEX Competition AEK in my 9mm Pro.
Trigger pull from factory was about 4.5lbs (measured crudely with my fishing scale). With the APEX kit the pull is a hair over 3lbs.

My pro came with the factory performance center sear so it already had a really decent break. I honestly cannot tell the difference in break between either sear. I do notice a much smoother and lighter pull due to the USB and the lighter springs.

I think I could have gotten nearly the same result if I just bought the Competition spring kit and kept my sear and striker block stock.

I can't seem to find the hammer on my M&Ps
