Red face IDPA Holster

I know this holster thing has been beat to death and sorry to bring it up again, BUT. I need a holster for my 5" 9mm Pro for IDPA only. Most all the threads on here are for EDC. I know there is a lot of IDPA shooters on this forum and I should be able to get a holster that is fast to draw from easy to reholster on my first buy. Don't need to add another holster to my I don't like holster drawer. The holster I am using for my Gold Cup is a local made OWB kydex that works ok but the clip slips off the good gun belt sometimes. There fore I am thinking belt loops. I need to get this on order of the next match 10 Aug and have time to practice with it. Don

Holster on order thanks everyone. Don

Have you looked thru the "Competition" sub-forum further down the page? I'd be very surprised if there weren't several threads covering your question. Not to mention, the folks that are into that stuff might not inhabit this section, but spend all their forum time down there....

Blade Tech OWB specifically made for the 5" Pro is the one I use. See a lot of these and Comp TAC at the matches.

When I shoot IDPA, I use a Blade Tech Revolution that was intended for the Compact M&P, the muzzle end is open and will accept the 4.25 and 5" models as well as the tall sights on a Core (and it works with a Core with a red dot on it). Makes picking the holster simpler.

I got mine yesterday it is a really nice holster. I have a few questions if you don't mind.

1. Are you wearing it with the clip or the belt loops?
2. If wearing it with the clip are you putting the paddle part in side your waist band or just under the belt? Don

Thanks I ordered one I hate the clip ones even with a good gun belt sometimes I get the gun and the holster on the draw. Sure is hard to shoot that way. Will use the belt loops till it comes in. Don
