Has anyone tried the MagGuts for Shield?
Thanks!

Yes
I have one (1) 9+1 and left my 8+1 and 7+1 stock (for now).
No issues or problems running the mag fully loaded +1 at least 5 repetitions.
Easier to load with Maglula and if necessary, by hand to full level.
Steel follower is easier to clean than S&W plastic OEM.
Pricey, you have to decide if it is worth almost the cost of a new magazine to add one additional round to existing magazines.

I've been using them since last Spring, but I did some pretty thorough testing of them in my mags before trusting them for carry. Since it involves changing internals of a critical piece of a self defense pistol and they ARE easy to install wrong, I suggest thorough testing before anyone simply trusts them.
There are several threads (one is still on page 1). Do a Forum Search for the key word MagGuts and my user name to see how I tested them, what to watch for and signs that you've installed them incorrectly (still have a tough time loading the last round, still needing to Whack the mag to seat it, etc.).
Here's a few of them:
M&P shield owners, check it out
Larger capacity Shield 9mm mags?
True Shield Magazine Capacity (includes link to more threads @ "mp-pistol forum")

Thanks for the links! I think I'll get one for one of my 7 round mags. It has a Pearce Grip, which I like.

They work great if installed correctly like the instruction say. After a couple of full load ups on the magazine they break in and no longer are stiff on the last round being loaded into the mag..
I have them in all my 7 round mags for my 9mm shield and so far they have been reliable and worked well. Also the mags seem to seat a little smoother or easier than they did with the factory followers and springs.

Honestly, just for the ease of loading bit, I wish there were magguts for all my M&P's. Especially that dang 45c.

I have 4 mags with 100s of rounds thru each. Never had any problems.

Having successfully used these in a Kahr CW380, I was wondering if I could get the Shield Magguts made for the 9mm to work in the .40 mags. The .40 mags are structurally very similar to the 9's I understand (holes for counting the rounds are drilled differently, but does not affect function, and groves are somewhat different). Would be nice for the .40 since the round count is low to begin with.
Anybody tried the Magguts in a Sheild .40 mag? Would like to build some data on that one.

I believe they can be used in both calibers, but send 'em a quick email and they'll tell you.

I'm about to get a couple and put them into a few 7 round mags I don't carry yet. I've heard nothing but good about them. But like some have said already, test them in your mags first.

Got a response from Magguts:
<<The Shield MagGuts conversion will not work in the 40. The magazines are
different enough that it requires a new setup.
We plan to eventually offer a conversion for the Shield 40. Feel free to
check back for status.>>
