Default Urban Carry Holster

Has anyone tried the Urban Carry Holster? I did a search on the Gun Leather Forum, but did not find anything. I was thinking about it for my Shield. Urban Carry Holster.com

That looks interesting. With their 30 day return window it might be worth a look.

I just ordered 3 different sizes for my carry guns. I post my impressions when I get them and break them in.

I did some quick searching on Google and saw someone ask about these on some other forum. One thing that was brought up was access when sitting. I'm about as unexperienced as you can get with CCW but I'd think that's more of an appendix carry issue rather than an Urban Carry holster issue.

Yep, looks like to me that you would have to be standing (or lying down) to draw your gun using the Urban Carry Holster.

That is why I always carry a bug in an ankle holster. If you carry anywhere between 3 and 6 o'clock, you will have problems drawing when in your car.

I got my Urban Carry Wednesday and unless my wife want's it I'm sending it back. My Shield rides high enough in the holster that the grip and up under my belt which is extremely uncomfortable it also makes it virtually impossible to sit down. On the other hand, a friend of mine ordered his the same time and loves his.

Interesting concept. I like the conceal-ability of it. Might be a good option for a back up gun Shield size or smaller. I don't carry a back up gun.

My only issue with it is it looks like it requires two hands to draw. I like the option of strong hand only draw.

Let me add that the company is great to work with and the holster is very well made. It just didn't work for me.
