3 months after purchasing my first pistol ever...I couldn't pass up the sale on M&P shield weapons. Can't beat $299..... Purchased M&P Shield .40 a few hours ago. Can't wait to get to the range.

Wow, nice buy! I hope you love your 40 as much as I do mine. If I came across them at that price I think I'd bring home a 9mm for my bride, and if she didn't want it... *Shrug *

I looked at the Shields at a large LGS that usually has aggressive prices and they were asking over $400 for them (~$405.00 maybe?) last week.

I bought it at a LGS however they do have them online for sale as well. I believe they are still on sale.
