Speed Holster for 5" M&P Pro
Have a new 5" 9mm Pro inbound.
Plan is to use it for Steel Challenge.
Looking for a simple fast draw holster.
One without unneeded retention devices or features.
Grasp draw aim shoot.
Haven't found one yet.
I use the Safariland 568 for my 625-3. Its not offered for the 5" M&P.
Hoping to find something similar to it.

I run a Bladetech DOH Stingray for my M&P pro 9L, and M&P 9L CORE for steel challenge. What is nice this holster will handle both my 9L pro, and 9L CORE. No issues with the reflex sight same holster for both M&P's. The Bladetech has simple friction retention, and the inside finish of the holster is very slick and smooth. I run the holster off a double alpha belt. I was looking for the same thing you were when I found this holster. Its not a race holster so you can shoot production with your production gun, but its slick enough to run just fine in the open division. Nice to have the same holster for both.
Good luck

Somehow I was under the impression the Bladetech DOH Stingray was a ladies holster.
Guess not.

It looks like there are at least three Bladetech holsters which use the DOH Stingray belt attachment.
There is the "regular" OWB, the Revolution and the Black Ice.
Do you recall which one you purchased?
Thanks!

I've tried a few different holsters:
Picture on right is a BladeTech Revolution that was intended for a 9 compact but works on any slide length. I use this on the rare occasion that I shoot a production division gun. The middle picture is a BladeTech Speed Holster, I used this for a while but wanted a holster with more positive retention (after the gun got knocked out while milling around in a crowd, an no I didn't pick it up so I didn't get a DQ ) And the one on the left is my current competition holster, it's a Safariland 014, the retention is so positive I think I could hang off the pistol and it wouldn't come out. (and it's a very fast draw).

Sweet, I just got one of those off of the prize table at the last match and I was hoping it was one that people were happy with. Thanks!
