Thumbs up Tommys Gun Pack -- Alternative to Holster for CC

Hi guys,

Just received my The All-American Tommy's Gun Pack, and it looks to be a great "fanny pack" for when you want to carry but don't want, or can't, use a holster.

I got it for 1¢, that's right, $0.01, plus $20.50 shipping.
OK, the shipping is high, but the price is right!

The "regular" price is well over $100. Don't think I'd pay that much.

Turns out that they offer these "free" deals very often. I just happened to catch this one from another thread.

I haven't worn it outside yet, but I really like the test fit I gave it in my house. It conceals your gun completely (impossible to tell) while giving you a very quick draw of your gun, and other pockets for magazines and other stuff. I got it for bicycle riding, but I think it will be very useful for walking, hiking, touring, etc (all the things a fanny pack is great for).

My M&P Shield fits very well, but I think it would also accommodate a full size gun as well.

Here's a pic:

Here's a video showing how it works:

I would be very careful about wearing that in public. Fanny backs in general are targets for purse snatchers and it practically screams, "I have a gun."

I'm surprised they didn't offer a 2nd one, just pay S&H.

Thanks. I was going to wear it only in my backyard.

I guess I'll now have to throw away all of my fannypack style camera bags. Darn. Worn them for years with great success.

I have no problem with a rig like that. I have something similar for when I'm riding my bike. I also have a fishing vest that I wear on occasion. Most people don't notice whether you are carrying or not. One thing: With that rig you need two hands to draw your weapon.

Actually, on my gun pack, I can easily & quickly draw with one hand. I just pinch the release on the belt connector attached to the gun pouch, and pull far enough to open the end of the pouch, and get my hand in the pouch and grab the gun.

The Tommys Gun Pack is extremely well made with high quality materials, including the zippers which all have zipper-pulls and unzip easily.

It only screams "I have a gun" to some (Not all) gun owners (and SOME LEOs). Those that don't CC, don't read the ads for Gun Bags and have no idea that they even exist.

Don't believe me? Show someone a firearm fanny pack and ask them what the extra (usually Velcro) compartment is for.
