Default Fiber Optics (Front Sight Only)

Every brand I've looked at seems to be sold as a set, front and rear. I prefer my rear sight blacked out. Does anyone know of a source with an "Ala Cart" menu?

The 5" front sight is .180 tall vs .160 tall for the FS and compacts.

Supposedly it's due to the 5" guns being made for competition and more people use the 6 o'clock hold.

Something like that.

Novaks or Dawson Precision, see were your gun is shooting now and order the height to suit you.

Thanks, I was beginning to think I'd have to pay for the set.

Taller sights on 5 inch competition are there so if you install a red dot type of sight in the top of the slide you can still use iron sights, thats what i was told.

That's the really tall sights on the CORE guns.

The regular 5" just has a taller front sight. The rear sight is the same height (.240) as the compact and FS guns.

No, that's the CORE. Suppressor sights are used to cowittness with an optic. 4.25" or 5" barrel.

FYI, very few of the guns are used in competition. IDPA has no division for them and the division in USPSA is not very popular yet...
