Default Firsts

My first post on the forums after purchasing my first S&W.

I just picked up an M&P 9 full size. I had rented one and really liked the way it shot. I think my first purchase for it will be the Tru Glo fiber optic/tritium sights. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Welcome, and congrats on selecting an excellent firearm! I see a lot of people mention the Tru Glo sights, but don't know much about them myself. For what it's worth, I have Trijicon HDs on both my Pro Series and Shield and really like 'em.

Other recommendations? You might look at Talon grip tape, the rubber version gives a nice tactile feel and great traction. A recommendation usually reserved for Shield owners, but an Uplula/Maglula loader makes stuffing the magazine super easy. Other than that, just get out and shoot!
