Default Ankle holster

I won a S&W shrouded hammer 642 and can't find a leather ankle holster with an upper calf strap. I used to own a Bianchi one without the extra strap and it always rode too low and bothered my ankle and foot. Any ideas?

I got one recently with the calf strap from a catalog. I think it might have been Cheaper Than Dirt but I wouldn't swear to it. All ballistic nylon and I agree the calf strap helps a lot with the fit and comfort

Galco Ankle Glove or Desantis Die Hard. I have both, one for a PPK and one for a 9 Shield and they're great. Not the best place to carry I know, but if one has to dress "neat" and can't get used to a IWB tuckable (I'm still try'n) then these two are tough to beat. Get comfortable with them and you'll have what you need if and when you need it.

I've had great luck with a Renegade with S&W 640s and even better with the lighter 442. Simple and solid.
