Default Body guard 380

Forgive me if this question has been asked before I'm new to this forum. My body guard is not locking back after last shot, if I put an empty mag in it, it will lock.Is this a common issue with this gun?

Not with mine, purchased new in Feb. last year, but I've heard this is a problem in some others and may be related to the follower in the magazine. Mine is the no laser version.

Have someone watch over your left shoulder while you shoot to make sure you're not accidentally putting your thumb on the slide lock button. This is a common issue with these tiny guns where there's not much real estate for your hands.

If this isn't the case it could be the magazine follower as Old cop said.

I agree with Ballistic147. You're probably touching the slide release with your thumb...it doesn't take much pressure to keep it from locking back. Mine didn't lock back a few times and sure enough it was my thumb on the slide release. Hopefully your problem is this simple too. Just keep your thumb out and see if locks back, then you'll know.

I do love shooting it, it's a fun little pistol to shoot!
