I have been considering doing a grip chop on a full size frame for a while. I ran across the aeti booth at shot show and fond the Hybrid adapter. After looking at the quality of the demo unit I decided to pickup one of the first kits. Now I need to buy a compact. Pics to follow.

How much did you pay for the kit? Did they say why it needs a new RSA instead of just using the factory full size RSA?

I received a show special. The RSA needs to change as the dimensions compact frame makes the full size RSA not fit.

What would the price of the kit and a fullsize slide and parts add up to?

Not sure I have seen just a slide for sale. Like I said I was going to send a frame out for a grip chop. I like that I don't have to permanently modify anything. I have a full size 9 it was cot for an optic, pro 5" one in 9 one in 40, and the 5" core comp. I think msrp is $139

I have one of these on its way back from SHOT that my buddy grabbed for me. Interested to see how it handles! I have a couple FS guns I will grab the slide from to run but have been looking for a FS slide to buy down the road.

I made a stupid video of putting a performance center ported full size slide on my compact frame. I didn't realize a company actually made an adapter for it.

If he funds are there go for the parts. If not the chop will probably do just fine. Afterwards you can use the grip sleeves on the full size mags and make it just as comfy or run the compact magazines.
