Default New Bodyguard 380 and a question

Hi all,

After selling my previous Bodyguard 380 to my buddy, I decided I missed it and just bought another one! It's super new, with a build date of 1/13/2016 and no cosmetic issues LOL

Anyway, I had a question about the rails. Is it normal for the rail to have square notches in it every so often as seen in these photos? I don't remember seeing this on my older model, thanks!

Looks just like the slide rails on my wife's BG. Nothing to worry about.

Its a debris removal notch. Its all good. :-) Debris will collect there while the gun is operating. All to hopefully prevent jams and at the same time reduce some weight. :-p
