Default M&P 9mm CORE Ported not firing

I bought a 9mm CORE Ported a few weeks ago and am having a problem, it will be firing fine and then just not fire? Nothing feels different, the trigger reaches the trigger stop and never fires. I clear it and chamber another round and it fires fine. It might fire a whole magazine before it happens again or it might happen again after 2/3 rounds, nothing consistent or duplicate.

Has anyone had this problem or is it a S&W warranty issue?

Thanks

I had a VTAC do that a few months back. I had to send it back. Of course, S&W can be a bit secretive about what the fix. I want to say it was trigger bar and sear or something else that got replaced.
It was a very quick turn-around and they paid shipping both ways. Fedex picked up and dropped back off to me at the house.

The trigger over travel stop is adjustable and you might back it off a bit to make sure it isn't engaging too soon.

Agree with Pyro, I had my over travel stop adjusted out to the exact point the trigger broke, then all of a sudden about 2000 rds later it would fire then not fire. I knew right away that I was on the edge with the over travel stop. A quarter to half turn in and I bet you will be back in business.

Good luck.
