I had a late 2014 build date Shield 9mm and it was flawless no spring problems or hard racking ,I wanted nite sites on it . Stopped at a gun shop in Jersey Shore PA and he had the newer Shield 3 mags and nite sites my gun is like new in the box I was just going to trade then he says 260 cash and my gun I thought no way. so I head home and my local shop just got one 3 mags nite sites my gun and 125 out the door so I upgraded cleaned the packing oil off and lubed it up to go , no racking problem, slide went right on and off ,will try out Friday this new one is a march 2016 build date L/E It may be good to go .

congratulations on your new addition, FYI the LE configuration was just produced by S&W due to the NYPD authorizing the Shield for use.

Yeah, I like night sights. Sounds like you got it covered. Heck I went over board. I got seven mags for ever semi I own, including my shield.

I always do that. That way I can load them at home before the range and maximize shooting time.

I like the Shield they seem to shoot right on . I have the 3 mags that it came with also 2 or 3 more around . I think 125 otd was a good trade for the upgrade I got . That other place wanted 260 and that was to much sometimes I just dive in and do it but no way on that one . I also have a M/P 9 full size L/E 3 mags and night sight sku 151215 Pvd flat blk finish its flawless
