Just a heads up to those who might not have received the sale announcement from S&W. They have the ten round magazines for the M&P 45 in "excellent condition, lightly used" on sale for fifteen dollars each, no limit. Makes me wish I had one...

I was notified my magazines had shipped June 2 and anticipated arrive is June 8. Coming by FedEx. That's PDQ.

Got mine last night. They are FAR from "excellent". The finish is nearly gone on all of them. One looks like a dog chewed on the floor plate. Another still has quite a bit of dirt in the logo on the floor plate.

However, they don't appear banged up. While faded, the bodies are smooth. Followers look good. They load easily. If anything, the springs feel a bit light.

I haven't disassembled any yet to look inside nor shot with any of them.

Considering I paid shipping and tax from S&W, if I need springs, or have other issues with any of them, the $$ I saved buying these will be wiped out. Especially considering they are in stock at Greg Cote for $26.95.

So YMMV. For those of you that jumped on this, how do yours look?

I placed an order but never got a confirm, so I called them and they said it didn't go through as they were out of stock. Sounds like a dodged a bullet! ha

Got mine, have no complaints considering they were half off.
Only signs of wear were the baseplates, some were obviously dropped a few times, but I drop my mags so I'm not a member of the "pristine baseplate range warrior" club.

If you didn't get any, I think you missed out, not 'dodged a bullet'.

Mine came in on Monday. While I didn't do a detailed inspection, my first impression was heck yes...these look great. Clean, shiny, base plates look excellent, followers all look fine. Perhaps this weekend I'll have a chance to look them over better.

I just saw this. I placed an order and it went through, but it looks like I missed out. Time will tell.

EDIT: As I was typing the above, I got a confirmation email from S&W. We'll see what arrives.

Very Interesting. The S&W site says Black. The HKParts site says Stainless. Mine look like the HKParts mags.

Yep. I've never seen a 'black' M&P45 magazine. I'm almost certain they only ever came in the silvery coloration.

I'm considering a 45c, I know it comes with an 8 round mag, I've heard the FS 10 round mag will fit the 45c. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, the full size 10 and 14 mags fit in the C. There's an XGrip spacer to help.

And I can get them brand new from Botach Tactical for $25/mag with free shipping.

Now, if you were to offer your used mags for say $20/mag including shipping...the PM system is a wonderful thing.

I ordered 5 and they showed up today. Definitely used, but not very much. The mag tube is almost perfect. Some of the base plates look new and one or two have very small marks on them.

This is a great deal.
