Default Uplula Loader, Shield 9mm

Just received my Uplula loader and happy to report that it works great on Shield 9mm rounds. No problem now getting that 8th round in. This is by far one of the best affordable loaders you can buy. Your thumb will thank you.

Yes, the Uplula is darned near essential with a Shield IMHO.

Thumbs up Uplula loader

I got one a couple of weeks ago after trying to load the magazines for my M&P 9c. Why didn't they have these 40 years ago?

Thumbs up for UpLula. Mine works with my Shield 9mm, S&W 39-2, XDm .45 ACP, and S&W 1006.

I need one for my Mark I mags

Of the two which do you prefer or recommend? It is a thumb killer for me and I am going to buy some type of speed loader. Brian

I picked up a .45 Shield a couple weeks ago and an UpLula quickly followed. Now I wonder why I didn't buy one long ago. It flat out works as advertised.

Brian,
I like the Makershot alot as it is made for the Magazine and only the Mag you buy it for , Fits and works great! BUT it is a Plastic material so not sure how it will hold up!
(A little easier to use) It is in my Range bag with the UPLULA

The UPLULA will fit just about any Handgun Magazine you have , and is metal, very well made. It fits loose on single stack mags but easy to get used to it!
( Squeeze,push down add round)
So which do I like better? I do like both ! The Makershot is A little easier to use! And for 12$ it was worth a try for me! I also use it on my Shield more right now! Had only a couple weeks , so a update in a few months on how well it holds up will be coming I think OK
I tried another brand cheap loader I think 9$ and it was junk!

The UPLULA is also easy to use but BETTER made, metal! And fits most handgun mags so a Plus there as well if you have a few different guns!
Also the UPLULA has been out there a long time!
If you have several guns and 30$ in the budget the UPLULA is the way to go.

I like to try different things and I like gadgets ,if the cost is not way out there so a cheap try for me and is nice to have extra mag loaders that do not break the bank,

My wife bought one the day she purchased her Shield. It really does work. I still load them by hand most of the time because it's faster for me but after a good day of shooting my thumbs are pretty sore.

Just purchased one last weekend from Bass Pro and what a difference it makes putting 17 rounds in a full size MP9. A big plus.

I use my Uplula for all of my semi-auto firearms, from .380 up to .45. It is a permanent occupant of my range bag.

If I didn't have my Uplula, my 9C would be pretty useless with my old thumbs.

Default Boy am I glad.......

Boy am I glad I bought mine. At the range I would just put enough rounds in until it got difficult. With the Uplula getting a full mag (or close to it) is easy as pie and fast with no fumbling allowing me to spend more time at the firing line.

still a bit new to the hobby a couple years ago, i was looking at the "cheap route" for a loader to use on my compact and full size MP 9's. Grabbed one from HKS which worked alright for the full size but needed a little "tweaking" to really work on the compact mags. It saved a few bucks over the Uplula, but wasn't perfect.

Then Santa came and deposited a shiny new Uplula in my stocking that Christmas.

Boom. Santa somehow new (Mrs Claus maybe?) just what i truly needed lol. And that Uplula never leaves my side at the range. And now that i have a Shield, it's perfect for all my needs. After all if my hands are cramping up, i'm not heading to the range.......

An Uplula has a permanent home in my range kit. I love to see someone struggling reloading their hi-capacity magazine. Just walk over and show them how easy it is to do with my Uplula and the next question is "Where can I get one?"

Default 9C Magazine Ridiculously Hard to Load

Went to the gunstore/range yesterday looking for a CC to replace my Airweight. Inside 10 feet, probably okay, but not satisfied with 5-shot DAO. Didn't like anything they showed me until I picked up a 9C. Good fit for my big hands, good feel. Test fired 10 rounds at 7 yards. Group was 2" wide but 8" tall. Very promising, but loading that clip was ridiculous. I'll check into the UpLula. If it works, I'll buy a 9C.

Uplula is the best thing to come along, since they put mayonnaise in a jar! I went out and bought one when I got my Taurus PT140. The mags for it are 10 round .40S&W double stack. The first round is ridiculous and the third round feels like the spring is already compressed! I've never managed to load over five rounds unassisted. The Shield mag is stiff, but not quite as bad as the PT140. If you spend any time at the range, you need the Uplula. Well worth the money, and your fingers will thank you!
