Default New m&p9L performance center ported fail to extract and fail to feed

Hi all,

I just took my new mp9L performance center ported to the range and shot 150 rounds. During the first 50 rounds I constantly experienced fail-to-eject and fail-to-feed. During the second 50 rounds it was a lot better but still a few fail-to-extract and fail-to-feed. The last 50 rounds I did not experience any fail-to-extract and fail-to-feed. Do you think this is normal? I am shooting freedom munition's new 115 gr fmj ammo. I know it is not a very good brand but I have not had any issues with it on my FNS 9.

Thanks!

Sounds like it just needed to be shot a bit to break it in.

I would get it back to the range a put a few hundred more rounds through it.

Did you clean the gun before shooting it to get out any packing grease etc? That can cause issues. I agree that it prob. needs to be broken in. Which is kind of ridiculous on a Performance Center gun. A lot of people seem to like freedom munition's ammo. I have not shot it. However, I have not had the best luck quality wise on remanufactured ammo. If I am going to use remanufactured ammo, I would rather use our reloads where I know a lot more care has gone into making them. Just my two cents worth.
