Has anyone tried putting the TLR 6 light for the Shield 9/40 on a Shield 45?

I sent an email to Streamlight customer service. Received a reply that they have no plans to produce a Shield 45 compatible TLR-6. They suggested contacting S&W to get specific frame dimensions on the 9/40/45 and determine myself if the light 'might' fit.

How's that for customer service.

I was thinking worse case scenario is I'll have to dremel a little material from inside the light where it clamps on, but I may be wrong.

TLR-6 on Wife's 9mm Shield ... She really likes it.

I have the light on my shield 9. I like it, and doubt I'll find a better light for a long time.
