Are there any negatives to the thumb safety in regards to trigger pull? In other words, does the thumb safety make the trigger pull worse in any way as compared to the NTS version? Does the TS block the sear or just the trigger?
While the Shield 45 has a different design than the rest of the M&P line, I don't see any way it could negatively impact the trigger pull. Looks to be totally independent, unlike a 1911 series 80 safety which is integral.
I have the safety version. The trigger pull is a improvement compared to the previous Shields. I want to compare it to the Performance Center Shield 45 they just announced. I think the stock trigger is nice already.
