Wonder if the grip inserts are interchangeable with the originals. The M-large sounds like it might have possibilities.

I wonder if the newest upgrades of the 2.0 will revise the .357sig model to come out. I truly love the round and as soon as i can save the cash for the new 2.0 40 cal i will swap the barrell so i can use .357sig.

I have a 4.25" coming in tomorrow and was wondering if they fit 1.0 holsters? I'm wanting to get a ALS for it that will accept my TRL-1.

I have done some 25 yard shooting with full size m&ps and my p320c, both shoot 6-7" groups for me offhand. Is the accuracy issues from people bench resting them? I'm not ashamed to say I don't ever really one hole a group, even at 7-10 yards but I keep them grouped pretty well center mass.

The 2.0 is slimmer than the 1.0 so i doubt the holsters are same especially plastic and kydex. Possibly an all leather holster that has not been used may fit.

As for the accuracy, videos show it to be "on point" just as previous models however, that steel liner seems to help along with some lightening of the slide.

Kydex and leather holster retention is usually based on the trigger guard, especially with a retention screw. S&W purposely designed the M2.0 to be backwards compatible for holsters. The trigger guard width and general shape are the same. The front and rear of the slide are the same width. Only the front half of the slide is a little thinner. This should make no difference for holster fit/retention. Dust covers are the same dimensions. No problem.

Also mags are compatible for the guns and previous mag holders. Sights are the same.

Went tried a m2.0 in a raven kydex (made for the original) and it worked perfect. It looks like holsters shouldn't be a problem.

The original M&P pistols didn't inspire any desire for me to own one, the new 2.0 is on my to buy list for home defense. The revised grip and much improved trigger are the biggest improvements. My LGS encouraged me to handle and dry fire samples of old and new knowing I'd be impressed.

I bought a 9mm 2.0 and a .45 Shield over the weekend. Love the grip. It's like the gun grips the hand, not the hand gripping the gun.

Are 5" 2.0 models WITHOUT the manual safety scheduled for production anytime soon? My searches to find one in the wild have been fruitless.

And no, I don't want to buy a Safety model and plug the safety slot.
