Picked up a M&P 2.0 9mm today
Handled one at a LGS last night and really liked the grip and feel of it. Trigger was a lot better too than my old M&P 9
Stopped at another LGS this afternoon and he got a 4 of the 2.0s. 2 of the black 4.25" and 2 of the FDE 5" with a safety
I liked the FDE but don't care for the safety
If you've held the Shield .45 you'll be familiar with the stippling that this grip has. It is aggressive but feels great in your hand. You can get a nice high grip on it thanks to the higher undercut
Trigger is better than the older Smith trigger but not VP9 or PPQ quality. It is acceptable to me and audible reset is nice
Comes with 4 grip sizes, Medium comes installed
Me and another guy bought the 2 black 2.0s within minutes of each other lol
Clean tonight and hopefully shoot at range tomorrow

Congrats! I love mine! I just want to switch out the sights for some night sights. Other then that I love it. It shoots great with minimum recoil.

Took it to the range last night, 200 trouble free rounds
The grips are really nice, recoil light and pretty darn accurate
After 200 rounds I could start to feel the grips bite but in a good way
Sub 500 bucks it's a great handgun

hi OP, you noted the trigger felt better than a v1 MP in store; how did it feel actually at the range?
thx!

Felt great! I've been shooting DA/SA Sigs and CZs lately so it took a few rounds to get my striker fire feet wet again. Once I got my bearings i was pretty dead on. Guess which shots were my last ones on the box of ammo

Great thread. I held an FDE the other day and liked it. Unfortunately I just bought a Ruger 1911 9mm and committed to a new Colt Cobra. But this pistol is on my "to be acquired in 2017 list".
Then I read about the Hudson H9. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Nice shooting by the way.

Can you verify the recoil spring assembly identical to the 1.0 version? Somebody else said they thought so, I was wondering, since you have both, if you could tell for sure?

I don't have my 1.0 any longer but I believe if you do a search on You Tube that the recoil spring assembly is different. I swore I saw that a couple of days ago

Any pics? I wouldn't mind grabbing a 5" version as well in FDE.
Tutorial?

Just out of curiosity, did you have a plastic plug ready to be installed before you popped it?
