I would not judge the "accuracy" of any pistol based on the results of persons unknown! Let's face it...there are many who just don't shoot well...especially a gun they've never shot. On the other hand my son-in-law can really shoot so if he told me a particular gun was hard to hit with then I can give that opinion some weight knowing the source.
You would be hard pressed to find a gun that didn't shoot "accurately" at standard pistol distances...but due to ergonomics, sights, trigger quality, ect. some are easier to shoot well with than others. A person may shoot a good 1911 very well but not shoot well with a revolver in DA. That doesn't mean the revolver isn't "accurate".
I can recall several times at the range when a young person shooting a Glock (or other fantastic plastic) borrowed one of my 3rd gens just to give it a try. Having never shot one before they almost always spray bullets all over the target yet I can put up a ragged hole with that same gun. I guarantee that person later claimed to his friends that those old Smiths aren't "accurate". Bullets pretty much hit where the barrel is pointed at the time they exit. JMHO.
