Just got a M&P 2.0 yesterday and cleaned and lubed it. Haven't fired yet. Some of the M7 cleaner I bought got into the firing pin block. Do I just lube it?

You never lube the firing pin channel. Just pull the firing pin out and clean the channel the best you can, and then reassemble.

I have used Mpro7 cleaners/lubes for years for detail cleaning and quick cleaning at a match. It has never caused any issues.

Appreciate the comments guys. I have mpro7 too. But since it's brand new and never even fired yet, I'm going to err on the side of caution. Had a little trouble pulling the pin, but got it figured out. Wiped the excess off and swabbed the tube. BTW, WTH is that red sleeve in the tube? It partially came out as the pin came out. I wonder if it's PTFE or something?
