Yes, but why? They're the same trigger.

I had bought an MP45 several yrs ago and just didn't care for the trigger . I had an apex kit installed , it's the difference between " night and day " now . Get the Apex kit installed and your problem solved .

Default M&P 2.0 trigger

From what I have read on S&W site and other reviews of the 2.0 the trigger is different, with a crisper release and a quicker reset.

Does your 45 have the new slide stop?

Default m&p 45 trigger

No, it does not have the new slide stop, it is about 3 yrs old and also has a manual safety.

I would upgrade the slide stop and install the Apex FSS. That's what I've done to mine and it's a really nice shooting gun.
