M&P 40 standard vs. Pro Series. What's the difference?
I have a chance to pick up an M&P 40 Pro Series. The question I have is what is the difference between the standard and Pro Series?

A little bit better trigger, decent night sights and some nice writing on the side of the pistol.

They are suppose to have better trigger and fiber optic sights. I had bad luck with two different pro series, both with heavy trigger pull 8lb, good reset, and reduced overtravel.
One of them was already sent for the previous owner to s&w for the same reason and still came back with the same trigger, not impressed honestly. My FS 9mm with apex fss kit has an awesome trigger that's a keeper.
I would look for the PC model that's suppose to have the best factory trigger of all M&P.

I wouldn't do that. I am not a fan of anything Apex has ever made. I would sell it off. Or just let it sit in the safe with the other countless firearms I have.

What do you have against Apex? I have only heard good things about them.
