I got mine about a month ago. I love it. Put about 400 rounds through it already and not a single issue. Coming from an older M&P 9, the trigger is so much better. Have fun!

I bought a NIB Detroit PD unissued M&P. 40 from BUDSGUNS.COM about 2 years ago. I just recently sold it to buy the new 2.0. I rented one at my LGS and shot 100 rounds through it. That thing sure is a tack driver!
It will accompany my new, just recently bought SD9, along with my other (4) SDVE fantastic plastic firearms.

I have that same M2.0 (sku: 11522), it's a nice shooter. I was a bit concerned about the aggressive stippling on the grip but it didn't bother me a bit.

I'm picking my M&P 9 2.0 from Grab a Gun on Monday. I paid $445. Even with the 8.25% sales tax its still cheaper than any where on the internet or locally. I handled one at Cabelas , (they wanted $525)and I was sold. I'm new to the M&P and have always favored Glocks but i figured I would get something diferrent yet as reliable. I can't wait to take it to the range and put some rounds down range.

You're REALLY going to like it a lot! I won't say that you will throw rocks at your Glocks, but, it will be tempting!

Guess our shop needs to reduce the price down to $429.

My 2.0 arrived Wednesday, but, I haven't had a chance to go pick it up at my cousins house (225 miles from me). I will be picking it up today. After giving it a good bath I will take some pics then go do some shooting.
Those that have this model, how do you like it over the M&P 1.0? Can you ACTUALLY tell a difference in shooting in any way, shape, or form? Please, share your opinions.

Post pics when you get it home! I'm lucky to have a FFL within 15 min drive that only charges $10 for a transfer. Can't beat that for local.

My cousin used to live only 1.5 miles from me. Then, he had to go and get married, sell his house here, and move into her house. Dang the luck!
But, the upside is, he has a range in his back yard. And, he gives me FREE ammo to shoot when I visit.

Here she is!
S&W really did their homework on this gun! The trigger is so smooth and crisp. The reset is awesome. The new aggressive stippled grip is perfect. Overall, I give it an 11 on a scale 1-10.

I dont have a .40 1.0, but i do have a 9mm. The 2.0 trigger is a big upgrade from the factory trigger on the 1.0, makes shooting more enjoyable. The reset is also much better which obviously makes quick shots easier. I love the grip texture, it really stays tight in your hand even with sweaty hands.

I got the M2.0 9mm and really like the gun. Put 200 rounds through it the day after I bought it with out an issue. Contrary to what a lot of people say about the new grip, I like it. Very comfortable. I have small hands and put the small palm well on and it fits like a glove. Enjoy your new gun, I think you'll like it too.

Those pics were taken after shooting 50 rounds of reloads my cousin had on hand, and 50 rounds of Monarch JHP.
My home defense round will be Federal Premium Hydra-Shok 135 gr. My target ammo will be the 200 reload rounds my cousin gave me, along with 180 gr. Monarch Brass FMJ. Academy has the Monarch on sale for $12.99 per 50.
This gun shoots so much better than my 1.0 did. And believe me, you CAN feel the difference!

I really like the ergonomics and the way it feels in my hands. It is a well made , solid handgun.I have not had a chance to fire it yet but I have field stripped it, cleaned any excess oil and punched the bore.
Only two things I don't like and they are both very minor. One is the slide slide stop detent the other is having to disengage the lever in the magazine well to be able to remove the slide. I have seen Iraqveteran8888 on YouTube bypass the lever by dry firing it while removing the slide. Will have to try that.
One note though. To me field stripping and breaking down the Glock and removing all the parts is simplicity itself. The M&P seems a little more complicated but not undoable.

I sold all my autos some years ago - Had a bunch H&K,glocks,1911's,
Browning,Beretta,Sig and Taurus.
Let them all go to play with my wheel guns sick of picking up brass.
Then I saw a piece on TV no less about the 2.0.
Well I still had 6000+ cases dies and a chunk of cast 40's sitting
for 15 years or so.
I went and checked one out and took the plunge.
Could have saved some jack by checking here before ordering but
hey I'm still happy with what I paid(Buds)
Has yet to arrive but I'm reading all I can to see what I have missed
in the auto world.
