Default New 2.0 9mm fde

Picked up my new M&P 2.0 FDE, i like it, shoots very well, accurate, barrel locks up very tight and trigger pull slightly less than 5.5 lbs. I use the large backstrap and it fits my hand well and very grippy.

I bought one of those a few weeks ago. It's a great range gun with good sights and a very solid feel. I've shot 600 rounds, all my reloads with several bullet and powder variations with zero problems. Accuracy has been average to exceptional, depending on the loading. I am a fan of full size M&P ergonomics and the new grip texture makes it even better.

Enjoy that pistol, ss 396! I'm also diggin' your powder museum there!

Thanks Robert1804, it has been flawless so far with my reloads, 124 grain Extreme bullets with 4.4 grains of Bullseye. When i get a holster for it i may switch out once in a while with my Glock 21 for carry purposes. So far so good. I have been collecting the old powder cans for a while, i think the vintage cans are pretty cool.

The 2.0 in FDE looks sweet, I noticed the 5" barrel which I like a lot. Checked one out a while back the thing I liked was the revamped grip that SW went to. I can understand the improved control with it. I know one major improvement was the trigger reset. I was 50/50 on the prior model due to the trigger and durability issues. My front sight came completely loose and shifted to one side after a about 700 rounds.

Overall it has been a descent gun. I would like a chance to test the 2.0 out with the improvements and 5" barrel I really think they may have nailed it.

I bought the same gun when they first hit the stores. Put a set of TFX Pro sights on it a couple weeks ago.
I use a Galco Combat Master that I bought for my M&P 45 several years ago. It's a comfortable holster that carries well.

I think I would prefer four different flat dark earth colors rather than just three.

It may be the best looking FDE pistol available.

Just add a Streamlight TLR-1 in their FDE offering and you'll have 4 different shades!
