My apologies if this has been asked previously guys. I scanned back through the posts and did not see it mentioned. Does anyone know if S&W has near future plans to release a 2.0 model of the 22lr? I would like to buy one but I would prefer to purchase the 2.0 model, assuming one is on the way.

Second somewhat related question. I have not seen the M&P 2.0 9mm 5" in black, only FDE. S&W's site indicates the 5" is available in black but I have yet to see it available for sale.

Anybody know?

I read an article that indicated S&W hinted there would be more future 2.0 variations but no specifics or timelines were given.
